ATELIER 05 – THE DETAILS

DAY 1

9h to 13h: Demonstration on a live model. Nicolas Jurnjack demonstrates different techniques and shares his tips and expertise for styling short and shoulder-length wigs.
14h to 19h: Get hands on. Practice the techniques you have learned and improve your skills.

DAY 2

9h to 13h: Demonstration on a live model. Nicolas Jurnjack demonstrates techniques, using hair pieces and extensions, to create glamorous, voluminous shapes and styles.
14h to 19h: Get hands on. Practice the techniques you have learned, improve your skills and express yourself!

TOOLS AND PRODUCTS USED

TOOLS AND PRODUCTS USED

The wigs, half-heads, hair extensions and supports, fasteners (clips etc.) for securing the hairstyles are provided to the participants in this workshop.

This two-day workshop focuses on hair pieces and extensions and how to use them to transform a face, a personality, a style. You will learn how to:

  • Use bangs/fringes and extensions to 'alter' the shape of a face, the length of the neck

  • Use synthetic textures to blend into and enhance a natural head of hair

  • Discover techniques to manipulate synthetic hair pieces using hot hair tools

  • Decide the looks and effects you want to explore and practice

THINGS TO NOTE

  • Practice will be on either mannequin heads or you will work with live models.

  • Nicolas Jurnjack designs and teaches all these workshops and will mentor you every step of the way.

  • PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED.

  • The workshops may be filmed or photographed for public release as part of a documentary. Use of your image and/or your work will be subject to your written permission at the start of each workshop.
